Dr. Keith Pettiford is a seasoned leader in the financial services industry with 31 years of wide-ranging domestic and international professional experience in the Financial Services Sector; working for organizations such as MBNA, Bank of America, Citibank, Barclays Bank, and JP Morgan Chase. He is currently a Director of Risk Management and Consumer Credit at Harley Davidson Financial Services (HDFS). He has oversight responsibility for the Consumer Credit Analysis, decision, and funding functions within the North American Originations team. Dr. Pettiford is also responsible for delivering overall credit quality and the development and successful implementation of Retail lending strategies and programs for the Harley-Davidson Dealer Network and the rider/customer.
In addition to his position at HDFS, Dr. Pettiford is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Wilmington University and has an economic article published in the Banking and Finance Review Journal. He is also an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and President of the New Castle County National Pan-Hellenic Council. With these organizations, he devotes time to serving the community, assisting Delaware community and state leaders, mentoring middle school through college students, and tutoring in Mathematics and Statistics.
Dr. Pettiford holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Wilmington University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Coppin State University.
