Ambassador Thomas Grant


Thomas Hne Grant is a Liberian American entrepreneur based in Newark, Delaware, where he has lived for 30 years. In February 2024, Liberia’s President Joseph Nyuma Boakai appointed him as Liberia’s Ambassador At-Large for Trade and Investment for Delaware and the Americas.

Grant is the Founder, CRO, and President of GPN Solutions LLC, a consultancy and networking company. GPN Solutions connects businesses from Africa and the Caribbean with U.S. companies to foster B2B and B2C relationships. Notably, in 2022, GPN Solutions facilitated connections for medical supply projects between Delaware companies and entities in Nigeria, Mali, and Zambia.

Grant received his education from the Episcopal School System in Liberia and pursued business administration studies at the College of Lake County in Illinois. He has extensive experience working for Fortune 500 companies and now manages multiple projects through his businesses.

 He is a founding member and current President of the Delaware Africa Caribbean Coalition (DACC), which aims to build relationships between Delaware and African and Caribbean countries through health care, education, economic development, and cultural diversity.

Under Grant’s leadership, the Delaware African and Caribbean Affairs Commission was established, and he serves on the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s Delaware Advisory Committee. Grant is committed to using his experiences to uplift others and promote hope and prosperity.
