Mr. Haji Dukuray


About Mr. Haji Dukuray

Haji DukurayCommissioner Haji Dukuray has been a residence of New Castle County, DE since 2006. He migrated from The Gambia to the United States in 1988 and is married with four wonderful children.

In January of 2021, Haji was elected as Vice President of Delaware Africa Caribbean Coalition (DACC). Prior to his election, he served as the Political Committee Chairman of DACC. He also serves as a board member for Sumpu Do Khatty, an organization representing people of Soninke decent.

Haji strongly believes that his purpose in life is to serve and give back in his own way, to the human community. He firmly believes that we all have something to give back; it can be as little as a kind word or smile to a fellow human, regardless of origin.
